One frustration of this project has been the actual ordering of the material, namely, the Smart Board. In addition to actually choosing which tool would work best for the money alloted (we elected to go with the 87 inch board, which will allow more space for the Bansho), there are so many details to figure out and protocols to learn and follow: Does the LCD projector project the proper size image? What are the imlications of mounting on top of a magnetic blackboard? Who is the person who does the actual ordering (via our Board's tender)? Is shipping included? What cords and cables are needed?
Anyway, we think we have actually ordered what we need, and we are hopeful the Boards will arrive and be installed in our classrooms by the last week of August, so that we can begin using them the first day of school. Yippee!
