Our second of two training meetings with Jim Cash the ITRT was awesome -- we again spent the morning working on our rich problem harvest (mining and classifying problems by strand, according to our curriculum map), then, in the afternoon, we spent several hours with Jim, brainstorming and exploring possbilities for the effective use of the IWB with Bansho.
One concern we had was that not all the solutions would be able to fit onto the board; especially disconcerting was what to do with the students whose work was on paper. But we found a way to use our document camera to capture such student solutions, and then post them up alongside their peers' that had been done directly on the Smart Board.
As you can see from the photos below, we engaged with the technology quite heavily today. Very exciting!
